Cajon and Oud

Melbourne, Australia

The buskers are playing a Cajón and an electric Oud.
A cajón is a box-shaped percussion instrument original from Peru,
played by slapping the front face (generally thin plywood) with the hands.

The Oud is a pear-shaped stringed instrument commonly used in middle Eastern music.
The European Lute is related to the Oud

I love the beautiful sounds of the Oud, Mieke, but never seen or heard an electrified one,
so this is a first for me! Thanks for the info on the cajón, it looks & is played
similar to a single bongo drum.
