And all go stumbling through the house,
in search for memories.
I’m a fan of Leonard Cohen
In search for the Guests lyrics I stumbled upon this You-tube video
the Guests is illustrated by pictures of Henry Cartier-Bresson
The pictures are worthwhile to view, just as listening to the song.
Henri Cartier-Bresson (August 22, 1908 – August 3, 2004) was a French photographer
considered to be the father of modern photojournalism,
an early adopter of 35 mm format, and the master of candid photography.
He helped develop the "street photography" or "real life reportage" style
that has influenced generations of photographers that followed.
I Wonder How Many People in This City from "The Spice-Box of Earth"
I wonder how many people in this city
live in furnished rooms.
Late at night when i look out at the buildings
I swear I see a face in every window
looking back at me
and when I turn away
I wonder how many go back to their desks
and write this down
Unfortunately I can´t see your video here in my country, I would have loved to see the pictures of this great photographer, whom I admire because I love street photography so much. Your picture conveyes a great felling of home coming and sharing! V.
