Echuca

End november 2005 I spend a few days at Echuca. Echuca is a town on the Murray river. Once it was the busiest port of Australia. Wool, wheat and sheep were transported on the Murray river to Adelaide. Nowadays the old port and the paddle steamers are a tourist attraction. You can even hire an old paddelsteamer to spend some days on the river.
