Harry was born on the Isle of Man, spent his childhood in Canada, and has made his home in Europe, Japan, India, and Brazil. In the last few years he has recorded some outstanding albums. I am really glad that I discovered him and hope others will too. I have the albums shown here. "Dog My Cat", "Wise And Otherwise", and "West Eats Meet" are all great.

So.... What kind of music does Harry play. It has a relaxing blues flavor with an occasional Eastern Indian element thrown in. His vocals are outstanding with just a touch of gravel in a soulful, blues delivery. He plays acoustic guitar, lap steel guitar, harmonica, banjo, and the Mohan veena.

What the heck is a Mohan veena. Harry lived in India for five years and studied music with Grammy winning Rajasthani Indian musician Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. He received a gift of Bhatt's custom-made, self-designed Mohan veena as a result of his effort. It is a 20-stringed cross between a sitar and guitar. Sounds like a strange instrument for a blues player but it works and works very well.
