We saw zebras everywhere we went, but quickly discovered that there were actually two species: one is the Common Zebra, found in most areas, and the other is the Grevy's Zebra, found in Samburu NR. The main difference is that the Grevy's Zebra has a white belly, whereas the black stripes extend around the belly in the Common Zebra. This time of year is peak migration for the Zebras coming from the Serengetti Plains in Tanzania to the grassy plains of Kenya.
