I would like to welcome you to my PBase page. The following galleries contain a majority of various railroad images taken from mainly areas in the general vicinity of southern West Virginia. I have been a rail enthusiast, or in others, a "railfan" for a bit over three years now. In those three years, I've been able to capture around 1,500 rail themed photos. While I do prefer to shoot railroad related themes, I do capture numerous landscape scenes which can be quickly accesible by visiting by "Landscapes" gallery below. All of the below galleries are frequently updated with new images. So be sure to check back often!
In December of 2008, I made the decision to take photography more serious. I purchased a Canon SLR in January and all of the images on this page are taken with that camera, a Canon 450D. I have a wide variety of lenses and as of November '09, I have a decent bit of focal lenghts, allowing me to shoot as wide as 10mm and as a deep as 250mm. As time progresses, my collection of lenses will expand.
