This is an attempt to present some of India's ancient heritage - its glorious palaces, forts and temples. I am a certified history nut and am never happier than when pottering around such buildings, often in ruins, camera in hand. I stop to think about what life must have been like in the good old days when such buildings were filled with the sounds of laughter and bravery and life.

Although these buildings are awesome in themselves, I usually try to include the human element in my photographs, just to give a context to each of them. It might just be a face peeping out of a window or a figure in the distance but I believe that they add value to the image, which would otherwise be just of buildings which are "lifeless"...
