German Battery at Longues-sur-Mer

Longues sur Mer, Normandy

This is one of four casemates positioned on the cliffs above Omaha Beach making up the German Battery.
Each was equipped with a torpedo boat cannon and these are the originals still here.
They were place 300 meters inland from the cliff edge.
