Claude Monet's House in Giverny

Giverny, France

Monet lived in this house for 43 years. The house was originally much smaller but
he enlarged it on each side so it is now 40m by 5m - long and narrow. He chose
the pink color and the green for the shutters. Most shutters at that time were
painted grey. It's a delightful house to visit. You can see why he enjoyed living
in this area.
