A fall hike with new friends Chenxu Wen, Xuemei Chen, and Austin Thompson. We crammed into my little car and traveled 1.5 hours from Nashville. Weather was perfect, though not much fall color yet and the drought meant absolutely no water for any of the waterfalls, which is why I quickly moved us from Fiery Gizzard to Stone Door.
