I took 6 days to drive the 469 miles from Shenandoah National Park to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park October 6-11, 2006. It was a fun and leisurely drive with wonderful views! It was cloudy, raining and foggy 5 of those 6 days, thus most images look like they were in a fog and sure enough they were! I was also a little early for the more brilliant fall colors, but hey, I got some! Enjoy!
