Rainforest Trekking, August 06

After 8 days on a boat with the mission team I parted from them the night before they flew home to begin my amazon nature photo adventure. 5 days were spent in a jungle lodge in Mamiraua Ecological Reserve plus 1 night in Tefe and 3 in Manaus. Here's the adventure photos! It was a trip of a life-time for someone who has never seen the Amazon! Coupled with the mission trip, I have a newfound respect for the largest rainforest in the world and the people! Charlie Doggett Photography

The wildlife -- wow! And "Big Sister", another great photo, capturing an introspective moment. As for the floating lodge, book me a room! I'd love to spend some time there.
