Sandhill Cranes 2008 North Drive Nest

I located this nest on a Friday afternoon and there were 2 eggs in the nest.
On Monday morning the nest had 2 chicks.
These photos show the activities of the parents with the chicks during the first few days of their lifes.

What an awesome experience.
I photograph the Sandhill Cranes each year as they migrate through Nebraska (the largest migration in the world). However, that is a difference experience than watching the Cranes raise their young like this. I really enjoyed your gallery.
