Machias Seal Island, Maine

Machias Seal Island is a 16 acre island of rocks and boulders and the breeding grounds for 10,000 Atlantic Puffins. Other breeding sea birds include Common Murre, Razorbill and others. I went there on June 22, 2007 on the Barbara Frost, a boat out of Cutler, ME. The heavy rain did not stop for the 2 to 3 hours that were spent in a blind.
