Dramatic and moody , the eye follows the road into the distance , then follows the beams back again. Another fantastic picture ! you have so many.

This is quite a beautiful image. The light that comes through the veil of the fog is very beautiful and the colours on this photo are superb. Wonderfully composed shot also. Congratulations.

A walk into paradise. And only you could take us along the path with such eloquence. The bend of fire maples as a beacon in the bold yet dreamy beams melt the viewer with awe.The splashes of light dappling the serpentine path like a passing of invisible angels stirring a flurry of gold dust. The sleepy shadows that would rather not awake but simmer in reverie until time's end.A world class image.V! with the multitude :-)

Yes, I think it is well that you do not have a camera, because otherwise you would not have started this project. I might be out of a camera soon myself, I might copy your project. This is truly awesome.
Rene Hales13-Aug-2005 21:29
Yes, much improved. Soft light works well here.--Rene

Terrific job AutomnS. Great image by all means.
Guest 13-Aug-2005 18:14
LC, yes, a great improvement. The warmer tones and soft glow work well here. It looks like you duplicated blurred and changed blending mode to create this kind of lighting effect. Whatever you did, it's much more pleasing than your original version.

Simly amazing. I wish I knew how to do post processing like this. I think it is improved. I find it softer. Wonderful job.

This is such a terrific photo - I think my favorite of any I've ever seen on pbase - that you could throw mud at it and it would still be great. I carry in my mind the notion that I am going to go out in the morning when the light is just right and find myself a curving, somewhat hilly, forested country road and try to duplicate this! Your appreciation and understanding of light is really exemplified by this shot, if you don't mind me saying LC.

Great improved, though it's a beautiful photo either way. Excellent composition, lighting, sense of distance, and the scene is dreamlike. Well done!
