OK From The Top

I continue to be fascinated by the unique perspectives found backstage (see previous PADs). This shot was taken from the very top of the stage at the topmost catwalk or stage bridge. To get there you must climb a narrow staircase that cork screws its way in darkness up three stories. The combination of turns in darkness and the significant height, leaves you a bit dizzy when you step on the catwalk. Oh the thrills of theater :)

Today was the last day of the stage production for the student play. The students have been working at a furious pace, but no more time. The curtain rises on Jan. 20 and the actors now need the stage. Below are a few other shots of stage production.

Amazing photograph with a beautiful blue and inky black with the stage below. Your photo totally captures the perpective as the tension and excitment builds.Viewer here almost feels like The Phantom! :o)

Looking at the thumbnail I first thought it was on a bridge of some sorts. Great shot.
