(Day 35) I haven't done my obligatory fall leaf still life... YET ;o). I don't think I've seen Magnolia leaves posted here this fall, but they have such deep color and bulk. Though an evergreen, Magnolia trees drop a fair number of thick leathery leaves in the fall. Around my parts, they're often used in holiday decorations.

Great colors and textures! We have quite a few magnolias, I've never noticed the leaves used in decorations before, I'll have to pay attention this year.
