This is great, and I'm going to steal your idea. Is that alright? But you've got to tell me: how did you keep the marbles from rolling off to the left? : )

VirginiaCoastline actually the marbles are not suspended, this is taken on a mirror, so you have reflections within reflections. Here is a link to my humble ( Setup ) The bottom three marbles are actually reflections while the top three are real. What I discovered in this round of 'mirrors and marbles', is that you can fracture the bottom reflections depending upon the angle of your lens, but still keep the real marbles in crisp focus. The shaking is but a fun illusion of the fractured image.
