Mykonos, like Santorini, is a "blue and white" island in my mind's eye. Both have dozens of small blue and white domed churches and whitewashed houses and stone pedestrian areas. Mykonos is also the "jumping off place" to visit the sacred island of Delos, which is un-inhabited in modern times, and the legendary birthplace of the sun god Apollo.
