Sky Castle

Germany

This shot was about 5 minutes before the photo I posted on PAD yesterday. A bit more red and darker silhoutte. Love the color! Will probably photoshop out the light spot you can see. I love my wide angle for huge sky shots like this. I was actually on the road to work and was lucky to have my camera and tripod in the car. Pulled over and shot a whole series of these photos over about 10 minutes. The colors were gone that quickly!

i shoot very dark and saturated, sometimes too dark... using the histogram sometimes helps me to not get too dark...

but getting darker and holding the colors and details in the clouds and sky has been really wonderful and amzingly revealing!

so...

i do like this one the best! it has intensity and heart!

vote! lets see how other feel... let me know the hit counts some day

another thing is how they print... my printing is always a bit darker than my screen...

nevertheless i do LOVE This one alot and again the way you have chosen to see this scene!

and thank you for your comments! best, don let me know when you show more skys...

do you have a sky/cloud gallery???? mine ishttp://pbase.com/donverger/clouds not too updated
