Went biking last weekend and got the bike outfitted with a trunk bag to carry the camera stuff! Loved this shot of the castle with the soft grain in the foreground. It was a gorgeous day and lots were out bicycling the Germany "farm" roads. They are black-topped narrow roads that criss cross the fields around my village.
I looked at this castles everyday from april 76 til aug. 77 out my window on the fourth floor of the barracks {C 3/59th A.D.A.]

I was a U.S. Army Sergeant stationed in Schloss Kaserne, Butzbach from 1969 to 1971. Thanks for bring back a great memory for me. From schloss kaserne the Munzenberg castle was visible to the east and was always a majestic site.
