I've been looking to find out what kind of bettle this is. I have a classroom that is keeping one like it and it would be great to know what we are dealing with. This is the only picture I can find right now that looks anywhere close to what we have. Really cool picture!!!

Great catch! You had to be very quick, as these beetles usually run very fast.
