Day6 ,7, and 8: Today we head to Mongolia’s most southern province of semiarid desert (aprox 210K/4-5hours) . The Gobi has a great air of mystery, perhaps because it lies at the heart of Asia’s remotest hinterland between the Siberian wilderness to the north and the Tibetan Plateau to the south. For the next three days we will explore this stunning landscapes and wildlife. We will overnight all three nights at Three Camels Lodge, an ecolodge crafted by local artisans with the canons of Monglian Buddhist architecture, without using a single nail. Nature flows throughout the lodge to create an ‘enchanting’environment.

While hiking up behind the lodge, Ann and I met a Nomadic Horseman and took lots of pictures. Tried to capture a good silouhette but only got a mediocre one.
