Welcome to my Bird Photography galleries. The Minnesota Birds I and Minnesota Birds II, as well as the Costa Rica Birds were all taken using a Nikon Coolpix 995 + a Nikon Fieldscope III-60ED spotting scope combination. This is a form of photography known as digiscoping.

In November 2002, I decided, prior to going to Ecuador, I decided to make the switch to a professional SLR, and bought a Nikon D100. The Ecuador Photos and all other galleries following it, are taken with a Nikon D100 and various lenses. Currently I have a Nikon 300mm/f4 ED lens and a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.
