I love this project! It makes me think of Edward Lear's alphabets for children. He wrote and illustrated several different ones in the 19th century. In one of them, "B" is for bear:
"B was once a little bear,
Beary, Wary, Hairy, Beary, Taky cary, Little bear!"
I enjoy being able to see the little path Mr. Bear has followed down the hill so often that the plants are quite worn away. Also, I see that the fallen trunk is a source of tasty grubs for bear snacks. You can see the claw marks quite plainly.
