The history of Fazer’s jellies extends to the end of the 19th century. Besides fruit jellies Pihlaja and Pastila, the jellies selection at that time included Pear Jellies, which can be considered the antecessors of Green Jellies first introduced in 1929.
The crown displayed on the Green Jellies’ box has become a symbol of Fazer’s jellies due to the beginnings of the fruit jellies: they were sent to the coronation of King Edward VII in a wooden box,
