It
was a great party. There was meat on the grill, beer and
wine on the table, and all-out Shankee jubilee at the post
game shindig Saturday night in Palermo. There was talk about
the nine strikeouts by the Shankee ace pitcher, Jimmy Ray
Jr. There was talk about Gabo Gabbo Perdomo’s solo homerun
which put the Shankees up one-zip in the fourth inning. And
there was talk about Jonathan “PokerStar” Cantrell bringing
the heat in his attempt to close out the top of the ninth.
But what really mattered was the Roach working the grill and
the Shankee team spirit alive on that Palermo terrace.
