This was the 28th annual
South Church's Self-Guided Garden Tour, June 23-24, 2017.
The weather was overcast and very humid on Saturday morning,
with a few sprinkles, as a front passed through mid-day.
This year the Tour consisted of 11 gardens
in a trapezoid bounded by Middle Street and Islington Street.
Fewer flowers than usual,
missing perennials such as poppies, lupine, lilies, and foxglove.
Some interesting planters.
I gave
special attention to sculpture and objets d'arte.
