After Central, I went to college at Queens in Charlotte NC and have lived in NC since then - first in Charlotte, then in Greenville NC. I live in Cary, NC and my daughter Jennifer, her husband Kemp and my two grandgirls (the GGs) live in Apex NC about 20 minutes away. So I get to see them often.

Life is good! Professionally, I worked in NC public education, IBM and now work for Pearson. My role is consulting on large scale IT education projects. I travel as I work with state agencies, provinces or school districts – sometimes internationally.

The travel I enjoy most though involves the GGs or family. The girls are now 8 and 10 – and of course beautiful and smart – and we have had wonderful vacations together. Jennifer’s husband Kemp had a work assignment in London so the girls lived with mom and dad in a flat in Kensington for 6 weeks and I joined them for a week. What a delight seeing your grandkids in the British Museum! They love our trips to Hawaii and I am now planning for summer 2014 – maybe a European jaunt.

When home time is filled with watching swim meets, gardening, visiting with friends. Nothing very exciting – but a great life.

I am looking forward to our 50th reunion and seeing everyone then!
