Graduated from Ole Miss in Engineering in 1968 and married my high school sweetheart Betty Barbee, who graduated from Central in 1964 and Ole Miss in 1968.
I began my life's journey as an engineer with General Electric. After several moves with GTE-Sylvania and ITT, I moved back to Memphis and joined IBM in 1985. After 16 years with IBM, I retired in 2001, and became Sr. Vice President of an engineering company in Utah. In February, 2005 I moved to Orlando, Florida, and joined an aerospace engineering company as Vice President of Research & Development.
Betty and I have had a wonderful life together and raised two sons, and have lived all over the US (8 states & 11 different cities). PS: IBM stands for "I've Been Moved".
I believe that Florida will be my last stop before really retiring. We love it here, and I plan to continue working for the next few years, as long as it does not interrupt my fishing schedule.
Roger has provided some stunning photographs of a Shuttle Launch.
Are you the Roger that used work at IBM in Kansas City at Crown Center? If so I worked with you (Buckshot Corporation) David Bell. Just happened to search for you for some reason.
