Lawra was my good friend and my housemate while we were at the Corcoran School of Art. My prayers are with her.

Lawra's Alzheimer's has finally progressed to where she no longer knows any of us. she is now locked in her own mental world. We believe she thinks she is working Vacation Bible School. We are not sure. She is always talking to "the little girls". Mike Somerville is still standing by her side and taking care of her. Mike loves Lawra as she have been all of her life. Please continue to remember Lawra and Mike in your prayers. They are very much appreciated.

This is my sister. A wonderful person who has been failed by Alzheimer's. Please remember her and Mike in your prayers. I miss her. Lawra's talents have been taken from her but she still goes to church every Sunday thanks to Mike Somerville. Lawra still enjoys singing.
