My heart sank when I recently heard that John had passed away. I was a year behind him at St. John's Catholic School on Lamar. I worked with him in the Fire Alarm Office on Flicker in Memphis. I am a Past Master of Berclair Lodge #772 and attended lodge with John there. John always had a quick wit and amiable disposition. He will be missed by many.

I was shocked and grieved to learn of John's death. We were in the same class at Catholic High School for Boys, and John always had an interesting perspective on the daily grind. My sincerest condolences to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear about John's death. I was his doctor before he moved to Washington state area. He and I had always been friends since high school. I kept up with him thru Gerald Levitch, my Canadian buddy who left Memphis when he graduated from MSU. John and I had something in common. I'm not sure if it were that we liked technical things or it was just easy to talk with him. When he first called me that they had found something in his blood I thought it could be cancer, but I didn't tell him. I am shocked that he has died so soon as the last time we spoke they had not made a full diagnosis of his problem. Please accept my sincere sorrow of his passing. Another fallen Warrior.
