After graduating from Central I attended Memphis State University where I studied Engineering and Business. After college I spent six years in the Army. Getting out of the service I worked 35 years for Process Systems Inc. (local engeering firm in Memphis). As a senior structural designer and construction manager I did the design and construction for a number of Wet Corn Mills all over America and the world. We would process corn and sugar beets in order to make Dextrose and Fructose as a sweetner for soft drinks etc.

I'm married to Vickie Faulkner for 26 years. She graduated from Ole Miss and taugh special education for 25 years. We have 3 daughters, two sons and seven grandchildren.

September. 2001 I had a stroke and heart attack. Because of Vickie and the grace of God I'm making a good recovery after spending several weeks ln the hospital.
