Working nights as a broadcast station engineer, I achieved a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Memphis State University. Later, while as a sales manager for Motorola, I was awarded an MBA from the University of Houston. Most of my career has been in Sales and Sales Management at Motorola, General Instrument Corp, Andrew Corporation, and Alcatel, primarily in the wireless and telecommunications markets. Additional fun has been experienced in Product Development, Market Development, and Product Management at Sprint, AvData Systems, and ITCDeltacom here in Atlanta.
My personal life is highlighted in the marriage to Linda Donahoe of Selmer, TN while we were students at Memphis State. Linda is now a Media Specialist in the Fulton County, GA system.
We have been blessed with two beautiful children, Sara and Matthew. Sara is married, and is a music teacher in Fulton County. Matthew died in 2003 while a senior at Stetson University in Deland, FL. We will soon celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and are exceedingly proud of that fact.

Good to hear from you, Bobby. Life has certainly improved for the both of us, I'm sure, since narrowly escaping from the clutches of the Mrs. Rauschers of the world, don't you think. That poor lady hardly had a screw that hadn't dropped to the floor. Anyway, we survived and made it this far.

I knew Matthew well before I graduated from Stetson and want to tell you that I still think of him often and the positive impact he had on my life. Thank you for him.

Bobby:
I am very proud of the 40 year marriage fact. It is hard in our present world to maintain longevity in relationships, especially marriage. I, too, have been married over 33 years, and I know it takes work on both sides to just stay married; much less happily. Congratulations....
