This 150 year old hospital housed many people ranging from mentally challenged children to the criminally insane. It was closed in the late 1990s and is currently in the midst of a legal dispute over what will be done with it. Of course, at this point it is virtually beyond any useful state and would be quite expensive to repair. The grounds cover over 100 acres and all but a few buildings are boarded up.
