Grace and Pascal renewed their wedding vows on their 12th anniversary recently in September, 2009. I was their bridesmaid 12 years ago and I was lucky enough to witness the celebration of their love all over again. This is an extremely rare body of work, as I am terrible at photographing at events and I rarely attempt it. Besides, I usually prefer mingling and catching up with friends instead of fiddling with my camera. But I made an exception, as this was indeed a very rare and special occasion...

You honor the event with these images, Celia. They are richly humane, often abstract and at times even incongruous. These are more expressive than the output of most wedding photographers, largely because you really care about these people, and that care comes through in the imagery.
