Rod Rees

Mountain Side
The Lost River Range, Idaho. I saw this shot as an abstract which, although recognizable as a mountainside, reads as a complex pattern of shapes, colors, textures, and tones.

I couldn't tell what it was at first glance. A really different and creative
point of view. I like the colors, textures and lines. Voted.

Rod all outstanding images but this is my favorite. Between the light the lines and shapes, the colour I dont know where to look first. Great eye to pull it off.

Beautiful! Fantastic framing, most original; it truly gives the viewer a sense of the mountain's size.

A great interpretation of a normally overlooked landscape! All very good but this is my favorite.

Great shot Rod, I don't ever recall looking out my window and seeing anything like that in Arco

Very interesting shot of what could have been just another landscape image. My pick

Intriguing, and a great angle for this pic.

Really well seen. I love the contrast between the snow and the grass and the patterns of light and shadow. Also the fact that the two areas are almost reflections of each other in shape. This would make a fine print.

Wonderful! The light is just sublime, the composition outstanding.

Rod, you made this so difficult !!!!! *g*. I like them all. This one wins by a nose.

Wow, this is one of those that you can look at for a long time and always find something new. Great composition, my pic of your 4.

This is an extremely beautiful abstract/illusion/landscape. I love the metallic look to the colour and how it glows. Janet
