Certainly an eye popping shot and I mean that in a very positive way!

The seasons are amazing aren't they?
Niice capture Rod!

I wasn't sure about this one at first, but the more I see it, the more I like it.

wow some beautiful colors and texture. Nice lighting too.
Guest 27-Nov-2006 00:08
I like it...the first thing that to mind was the transition of seasons. The colors are fading, the apples rotting and the leaf is about to fall off.
Guest 26-Nov-2006 21:08
Nice detail but the apple looks like it's rotten to the core.

I really like this shot, and I like it as composed... without a tighter crop... but that's just me ;)
Raymond Schreeuwer (Rafi) 26-Nov-2006 17:33
I would not crop.. the leaf offsets the red.. great colour..
J Bryan Kramer 26-Nov-2006 17:33
Nice shot but tight cropping might be better

the texture and color are fabulous. Have you tried cropping out the leaves on the left leaving just the apple and the branch on the right? It might have more impact that way.
dawn26-Nov-2006 15:21
I can see them both too!

Rod, I've been really impressed with your shots over the past few months especially the colours and compositions but this one leaves me unmoved. It's a case of either too close or not close enough for me.
Guest 26-Nov-2006 06:59
This one seems more contrasty than the one before.. Excellent and don't crop..
Janet Forjan-Freedman26-Nov-2006 03:50
Excellent colour saturation! Janet

Very rich color, great detail!
Doesn't look too appetizing any longer though, LOL! :)
