Have I changed since I saw you last?
This is probably the same individual photographed previously as a juvenile and posted as my POTW.
The popular name of Arilus cristatus refers to the 'gear' that rises from the back of the adult but is missing in the larvae. Compare the mouth and antennae of adults and juveniles and it becomes more believable that they are the same species. This adult is easily ten times the length of the juvenile.
