Part of a bouquet

Yesterday was the last day of an assignment, so I got some lovely flowers. I tried this in color, really, but I preferred the B&W version...

I really like this. As everyone else has said, great use of DOF & B&W to accentuate the texture of the flower. Great crop for maximum compositional effect.

Nice work Gina! I like your use of the DOF very much. I think the B&W works in this one quite nicely, altho I might be tempted to bump up the shadow a bit except for the center to see if that gives it a bit more depth, but I'm not sure.

Looks to me as if B&W was a fine choice to emphasize the texture and lines of this flower. Very nice crop too. I like it!
