Every year in April, the second biggest fly-in/airshow in the United States is held in Lakeland, Florida. This year I volunteered for the week at the Warbird Ramp. The USAF's newest space age fighter made it's civilian debut at the show. Needless to say I took lots of pictures. The Raptor is difficult to photograph because of it's light absorbing paint. A lot of the pictures I took looked fuzzy but I could see that the photo was in focus but the paint scheme deceives your eye just as it was designed to do. The preformance of this plane in the airshow was unbelievable.
