christmas eve with family
trying to get some more candid shots around the table proved really difficult
the lighting sucked and everyone moved around way too fast!
and to make things even worse, there wasn't even enough light to auto focus so i had to do it all manually.
surprisingly, i ended up with a bunch of shots i really like -- not your typical 'portrait' kinda stuff,
but shots that are moody and almost brooding.
i have to say, i really love my 100mm macro, what a stellar performer this thing is, to be able to pull
ANY kind of image out of such crappy, low light conditions! okay, photoshop helped quite a bit but still, the information WAS in there somewhere.

Hey, I know her....considering your available lighting, a very nice shot of Jenifer.
