Jim_M_Weekly_PSed.jpg

This is my weekly after about 10 minutes with post-processing in photoshop. I duplicated my background layer, made it a dodge layer, added a mask and set it to all black (nothing goes through), then used a white brush to selectively burn the areas I wanted to enhance. I did a hue saturation of +15 to bump up the color. I duplicated the background layer and did a gaussian blur, added a black mask and painted with white to blur the background. I added my signature and that was it. I used smart sharpen on the background layer for sharpening.

I like the compo.. It does seem a bit sharper and more detail....
Looking and thinking again. I forgot about the depth of field loss because of the long lens plus the converter.. butterflies are difficult catch..
Anyway, you were right in telling me off and am happy you did..
This is the way we get better and learn, I think..
Thanks for sharing this idea nad my apolgies again..
