Captured in a field of Thistles in Capay Valley, California.
This image is a composite of two images. The Sky was replaced from a second photo taken with a circular polarizer filter. I also brightened up the greens of the hills using Hue/Saturation tool in PSE2. I loved the golds of the thistle field so much I chose this as my POTW.
