This is why I love my 70-200 f2.8 lens. This photo was taken at 8:02 pm. The light coming in from the sliding glass door (behind my left shoulder) was indirect light, no direct sunlight on the door or the ground/objects by the door. I cropped and enhanced the image slightly before resizing and saving as jpeg.
Opal has just learned to sit on her own. She is probably one of the world's most photographed babies (her mother is a photographer, and they have lots of photographer family and friends, I am but one of them), but I think I've made an additional shot worth adding to her album.
