They call the flower Bee Balm for a reason. While I was shooting there were a half dozen bumblebees working the patch. This might have looked better at ISO 100 and f/5.6 but that would have made chasing bees on the wing a lot harder due to the reduced depth of field.

The wings in the motion do not looke flat, but moving around.
