The 2006 NMRA Convention and Trainshow in Philadelphia

The two galleries, "Manufacturer's Products" and "Layouts", (the first two thumbnails) lead to image galleries devoted to those topics.

All images have captions. If you don't see a caption adjust the size of your browser window by maximizing or stretching it.

The remaining photographs are of the actual NMRA convention and the area around the convention center in Philadelphia. The old Reading Railroad Terminal trainshed is now part of the convention center. The Terminal building itself is now part of the Marriott Hotel and has restaurants at ground level and SEPTA regional commuter trains in the basement.

Hello Clarence. I am the webmaster for the IJ2006 convention. I was one of the photographers who took the home layout photos for the web site and for advertising. You seem to have a better eye for photography than me, since I think your photos are better than some of mine! Good work.

Great pictures. I attended the show, but felt it was a waste of $10 admission and $27 parking fee! The highlight of the show was the Heljan container crane (I gotta get one of those)! The Marklin seminar was very informative; just embarrassed at the low turnout for an excellent presentation on digital.
