I kid you not, that is what this Radiation Therapy room is called.
I posted another view of "him", but wanted to show you a bit more. By this time, I am almost (notice not completely ;) without vanity..so here i am, no flattering tones and gowns, or ps..eargerly looking forward to my "date". I lay on the table, with my left arm in those blue things, above my head. The machine circles me...(i was going to say stalking me, but I like the comparision better, to how dogs go round and round in a small circle before settling down..sounds cozier.
It "zaps" (tehnical term ;D) me twice, for a bit over 30 seconds/ea..once my two merry Tech folk get me into position. This is done with green laser lights, from the ceiling. It is really very cool sci fi..at least to me ;)
There are grids marked on me, as it is crucial to hit the area where the tumor was removed, while avoiding my heart and lungs (duh, grin).
Soon, i leave to get on the bus, and travel with my new friends to Kaiser Soucey (Sunset Blvd.) Today is one of the guy's last day..so we will once more get the lovely and mysterious brown paper "treat" bags. It is really very fun :))
