One of the valuable lessons the Bud has taught me...
is how important it is to make each moment we have, the best it can be.
I was feeling sad, right in the middle of our playtime...I was thinking about my parents, since departed this earth, and then about the relatively short time the Bud is allotted here with me, ..stopped playing and was just hugging him...he finally wiggled away and threw himself on his back with joyful abandon wiggling all about and squeaking the toy in his mouth like mad... In essence...don't waste time worrying about what we cannot control...do your happy dance now and live... PEACE TO ALL ......now let's all do our own version of the happy dance :)
[January 26, 2006] Now my beloved Buddy also resides in this gallery that holds my
heart's memories and love. I had not realized the power of the truth in my words,
regarding the value of photographs to allow us to once more be with the ones who
have gone ahead. Time is so strange. It has been almost three weeks since Buddy
went to God, yet it seems months since I have held him, or petted his big round head.
Always choose love. There is a hefty price tag, but it is always worth the price.
