My normally quiet neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley
burb of Los Angeles was invaded by a couple of Terrorists,
one very Super Hero, Agent Jack Bauer, CTU's Swat Team and
more equipment than I have ever seen. There were lights, cables
screens, cameras and sound guys all over the place. There was
one fellow that had about 15 rolls of masking tape of various colors
around his waist, busily marking up the street for the actors and crew
to use. It appeared as if it was just a swarm of people doing unrelated
things. It was amazing how they all knew the plan and things really moved
along.
I signed the permission slips a couple of weeks ago. I had been looking forward
to the filming, as 24 is one of my favorite shows.
My compliments and appreciation go to the very Patient crew. I tried my best not
to get in the way, as I, too, sought to capture the moments.
